Peter Farwell was born in Littleton, NH.  Peter grew up in Lac Megantic, Quebec before moving to Wilmington, Vermont. Peter graduated from Stanstead College where he made many lifelong friends. He later attended the University of Vermont, majoring in electrical engineering. Peter honorably served in the United States Air Force which took him from Korea to Alaska to Wall, South Dakota. He settled in Manchester, NH, and eventually Hooksett, NH where he and his wife raised their family.

Peter spent his career as an electrical engineer for New England Telephone Company. After his retirement from Verizon, he became a private consultant for telecommunication contractors. He was involved in various volunteer roles in the town of Hooksett, including coaching his children in youth sports and serving as a member of the Hooksett Parks and Recreation Committee, Hooksett Village Water Precinct and the Hooksett Men’s Club. He coached for many years in the Manchester Regional Youth Hockey Association and served as a trustee for the Brookside Congregational Church. He tirelessly assisted his wife during their many years of coordinating the Salvation Army efforts in Hooksett. Peter was always willing to volunteer his time and to lend a hand.

He was the eternal optimist, and was always generous with his kindness and a smile. Peter saw only good in everyone he met.
