Mary Jane “MJ” Turcotte, of Webster, NH, was born in Manchester, NH, in 1944.

MJ attended Manchester Central and graduated from Memorial High School, Class of ’62. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State College, graduating in 1966.

Always a patriot, in 1971, MJ joined the United States Women’s Army Corps, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Following active duty, she earned an MBA. Mary Jane worked for the NH State Legislature in the Office of the Legislative Budget Assistant. She was later employed by the NH Department of Health and Human Services.

Her favorite hobbies included camping, fishing, and boating. She shared her love of Nature with her nieces and grandnephews at her home on Pillsbury Lake. Her greatest lesson to them was to have respect for Nature and all its wonders.

Lieutenant Colonel MJ was active in the Webster Community and an advocate for protecting its natural resources.
