Father, Joseph W. Fobes, I served in the US Army as a Reverend (Captain) during the Spanish-American War.

Married to Mary-Ann O’Brien, 4 children (David Allen, Joseph W, the 3rd, Elizabeth, and Catherine) Both boys served during Vietnam David in the US Army and Joseph in the US Airforce.

Joseph W. Fobes, II after service in WW II taught math at Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH for many years and then worked for the Catholic Diocese of Manchester until he died in 2000. He also ran his parent’s Dairy Farm in Franconia, NH until he sold it in 1978.
