Captain Peterson committed his life to God, Country, and family while serving in the NH Army National Guard for 10 years as a Chaplain. He was at his best when he could provide counsel and support for others in times of need. His compassion for the hearts and minds of others knew no bounds. He was a quiet man, an introspective man, but when he spoke others would listen. He wore many hats in life-Chaplain, Counselor, Husband, Brother, Son, Uncle, and Friend.

Of all his titles, the one he loved the most was Dad.
