TEC 5 John L Fuller earned the Silver Star during WWII.  According to a 1961 Monadnock Ledger article, Fuller was given the award after evacuating and caring for fellow soldiers under fire in Tunisia in 1943 during WWII.  He then went on to work in the cropping department at WW Cross before his passing in 1968.
