Francis “Frank” G. Guimond,  of Manchester, NH was born in Manchester.

A proud veteran of World War II, Frank served as a sergeant with the United States Army’s 32nd Red Arrow Division and participated in three major engagements in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post #2 and Catholic War Veterans Post 1341.

Until his retirement, Frank worked for the City of Manchester Parks and Recreation Department as a greenskeeper at Derryfield Country Club for thirty years. During the winter months, he also operated the Zamboni at the JFK Memorial Coliseum. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Deeply devoted to his faith, Frank was a longtime communicant of St. Pius X Church and a member of the Legion of One Thousand Men of the Monastery of the Precious Blood. He lived a life grounded in faith, family, and service to others.

Frank enjoyed bowling and was a former member of Lakeside Lanes. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be remembered for his kindness and selfless nature. Representing the values of the Greatest Generation, he leaves behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
