Sergeant David Fobes was born in Plymouth, NH on July 8, 1943, to Mary O’Brien and Joseph Fobes II. He attended Bishop Brady High School, St. Anselm College, and earned an MS at Thunderbird School of International Business.

He enlisted in the US Army and served in the 8th Special Forces Unit as a Green Beret from 1965 to 1968.

In his career, he also served as an Interpreter and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Parachute Badge, and Marksman Rifle Badge. He is survived by his two children Hillary & Oliva Fobes.
