Charles “Charlie” Magarian was born in Manchester, NH. He attended Manchester West High School and graduated from Fayetteville (NC) High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army fighting in the Korean War. He was a member of the Sweeney Post and worked for and retired from the NH Army National Guard as a Position Classification Specialist. Prior to that he owned and operated the New Deal Fish Market in Granite Square in the 60’s. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.
