T/4 Ceasar Robert Falsani / US Army

Ceasar Robert Falsani was born in Milford, NH, April 10, 1923, the son of Ceasar and Aida Falsani of Milford. He attended Milford schools and graduated from Milford High in 1941.

He was a member of the National Guard, 197th Coast Artillery, Battery A, from May 17 to September 11, 1940. Before enlisting in the Army, he was employed by the Nashua Gummed and Coated Paper Company in Nashua, NH. He was sworn in March 28, 1942 at Manchester and reported to Fort Devens in Massachusetts on April 18. He was sent to Fort McClellan, AL, for basic training and in July was stationed at Camp Edwards, MA for one month.

On August 5, 1942, he left Staten Island, NY, for England and Northern Ireland. In November, he went to North Africa in the 591st Engineers Boat Regiment, 3rd Battalion, Headquarters Company and followed through to Italy, France and Germany participating in six major campaigns. The latter part of his service was in the 2759th Engineers Combat Battalion.

On August 6, 1945, he flew back to Miami, Florida by way of Africa and South America. He received his discharge September 13, 1945 at Fort Devens.
