Bruce A. Adams was born and raised in the New England area, attending grade school in Saxtons River, Vermont, and graduating from the Vermont Academy. He pursued higher education at the University of Vermont, where he was an active member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Economics.

Following his education, Adams entered military service with the United States Air Force. During his tenure, he was stationed in French Morocco, a strategic location during the early years of the Cold War. He served with pride, contributing to the Air Force’s missions abroad before returning to civilian life and establishing a long career in the paper industry.

Upon returning to New Hampshire, he settled in Keene, where he became a fixture of the community for over 50 years. He spent his professional life as a salesman for the Lindenmeyr Munroe Paper Company. Outside of his professional and military achievements, Adams was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and skiing.
