Brian R. Pineault was a lifelong son of New Hampshire, born in Manchester and later making his home in Gilford. His commitment to his state and country was defined by an 11-year career in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. During his tenure, he rose to the rank of Sergeant (E-5), serving as a Cannon Fire Direction Specialist. This role required technical precision and leadership, ensuring the accuracy of field artillery during a period that encompassed the Persian Gulf War.

His military service was marked by distinct recognition, including two Army Achievement Medals, the Army Service Ribbon, and the New Hampshire National Guard Service Bar. These honors reflect a decade of dedication to the Guard’s mission. Outside of his uniform, Brian applied that same discipline to a nearly four-decade career at Summit Packaging Systems, where he built and led the Quality Team. He passed away in Concord at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and service to the Granite State.
